I remember buying my first home. Single working gal, 27 years old ( I was renting since I was 22)
I didn't know a realtor and I jumped at the first new townhome I saw. They assured me that the area was soon to be totally renovated and they I should not worry, and that the property would rise in value year by year. NOT!
